About The IndieGo Collective

About
So who are we? The IndieGo Collective are a whole bunch of eclectic creative people; we are musicians, artists, poets, comedians, magicians, actors, actresses, writers and performers who all come together under the umbrella of The IndieGo Show to help raise funds for those in our communities who need our help most. Some of us have been performing and touring for many years, some are new at it but are loving the journey that music and the arts can take a person. The one thing we all know is that together doing the things we love doing most of all we then get the chance to help others who need our help most, together we can make a difference to other people's lives, all we need to do is a little together. The purpose of the IndieGo Collective Charity is to raise funds and to use these funds to help pay for lessons in music, drama and the arts for school kids who can't afford to pay for the lessons themselves, lots of kids are missing out and with times being what they are there is often a lack of funds in many family homes for musical instruments and lessons, which is a massive shame because it is a well known fact that kids build lots of confidence through music, drama and the arts, it opens the mind and brings young people together, it connect parts of the brain that aren't needed or used for Mathematics and English, so playing music has enormous benefits for all of us, but most importantly for young people who are growing. It's time to give something back to our young people and help with their development, and that's exactly what we at The IndieGo Collective Charity want to do. We shall raise money by promoting and arranging musical, artistic, and theatrical performances, some of these performances will be free entry events like the IndieGo Show where we collect money by donations into our charity bucket, some will be by busking on our streets and bringing music and theatre to the people walking by, creating a creative space on our streets, all of the money collected by donations in this way shall be given to the charity. We shall also advertise ourselves through our website and social media pages, hopefully some kind spirited people just like you will donate to our charity through our website and social media pages. We shall also in the near future be putting together some paid entry events (i.e. music festivals and theatre productions) and any profit from the money collected after costs will also be made available to the charity. Keep an eye out for all our events on our events page.
